We are pleased to announce that applications are open for the Annual “AMS/ISS Best Scientific Paper Award”. This award will be given to the presenter of the best musculoskeletal scientific paper at the 19th AMS on 20-21 Jan, 2017 at The Jikei University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan.
The winner will:
Pay registration fee at ISS member’s rate for the 2017 ISS Annual Refresher Course to be held in New York 2017.
Be extended an invitation to attend the Closed Meeting of ISS members. This is a rare privilege to observe presentations and discussions of esoteric cases by renown musculoskeletal radiologists, pathologists and clinicians.
Only AMS members who are not ISS members will be eligible.
The award winner will attend the 2017 ISS Refresher Course and Closed Meeting to be held in New York, U.S.A. The winning paper, if deemed to be of sufficient merit by the judges, will be presented at the Special Scientific Session of the ISS Closed Meeting.
The award winner must undertake to present his or her paper at the Special Scientific Session of the ISS Closed Meeting in New York, if chosen.
The AMS will provide a grant towards defraying the award winner’s travelling/ accommodation expenses.

The shortlisted candidates:
The shortlisted candidates will present their papers at the scientific session scheduled on 20 January 2017 from 10:30 - 11:30 AM at The Jikei University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan.
Judges will be nominated senior members of the AMS who are also ISS members and may include other distinguished ISS members from outside of Asia. The judges’ decision is final.
The award winner will be announced during the Annual Meeting.
